Useful Information for International Students
1) Accommodation: Tabriz Islamic Art University has a furnished guest house near the main campus which is available for visiting scholars. Information about rates and availability can be obtained by sending an email to international at https://en.tabriziau.ac.ir/?PageID=37.
2) Foreign applicants who wish to apply for admission:
For admission to degree programs, applicants should send their inquiries to int.admission@tabriziau.ac.ir for the attention of the International Students Office. Detailed information is available at https://international.tabriziau.ac.ir/ (admission section).

For a short term: (one or two semester) stay at Tabriz Islamic Art University, applicants may send their requests to the Office of International Relations at https://international.tabriziau.ac.ir.
For certificate in Persian language, applicants may send their requests to international@tabriziau.ac.ir for the attention of the International Center for Persian Studies.
For sabbatical leave or research stay at Tabriz Islamic Art University, applicants may correspond with the Office of International Relations or with the corresponding college/faculty directly.
Foreign visitors who wish their visa to be arranged by Tabriz Islamic Art University should correspond with the respective college/faculty/institute. They will be asked to fill out a visa form, and after confirmation, their visa will be processed with the help of the Office of International Relations.

Dormitories
Student Dormitories
The university doesn’t have student dormitories student, but it can suggest some of the best place that all located close to the main campus. The international students may live in the same dormitories as their Iranian counterparts. The rooms in these dormitories are typically designed to accommodate four or five people. Although we do our best to put international students together in the same rooms, this is not always possible and we do not guarantee the number or the nationalities of the roommates.
Facilities
The bathroom and catering facilities are shared and there is a study room in each dormitory where the students can study in a quiet atmosphere. Lunch and dinner are served man campus restaurant.
Private Student Housing for International Students
The university offers private housing to international students where rooms are either single or double occupancy. Female students are offered a specially prepared house where they choose between single and double rooms. The house is located inside the university and is about 1-minute walk to the classes. The single and double rooms will cost about 400 and 300 USD per month which includes gas, electricity and maintenance costs.
Facilities
The houses for international students are fully furnished and have all the catering, bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi internet and laundry facilities.
Cost
The rents are as follows: water, gas, and electricity bills are included.

The student Buffet of Pardis by 90-person capacity (where you can buy drinks, starters, hot main dishes, Sandwich, etc. you can eat on site or take away.
Maghsodiyeh Campus;
Maghsodiyeh by 200-person capacity
The student Buffet of Maghsodiyeh by 30-person capacity Buffet (where you can buy drinks, starters, hot main dishes, Sandwich, etc. you can eat on site or take away.
Food time
Lunch time 12:15- 13:45 by reservation (13:45-14:00 extra time for buying the food in restaurant)
Dinner time 17:15- 18:40 by reservation (18:45-19:00 extra time for buying the food in restaurant)
Languages Proficiency
The medium of instruction in Tabriz Islamic Art University for international students is English or Farsi. Those who satisfy one of the exam criteria listed below can submit their information to the Additional Certificates section of the application program.
Those who do not satisfy minimum score from this exam will attend English Preparatory Class at the Department of Basic English for one year.
Students who submit a valid English Proficiency Exam Result (TOEFL, IELTS or CEFR English Proficiency Exam) during registration will be exempt from English Preparatory Class and will directly start their graduate courses.

CEFR: The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability.
Learning Persian Language
As the language of instruction at Tabriz Islamic Art University is in Persian or English, foreign students are required to have an adequate knowledge and satisfactory command of the Persian language. The applicants should undertake an Intensive Persian Language Course for foreign students whose native language is other than Persian at Centers specified by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology or the Language Centre of University of Tabriz.
